Museum of Science and Industry

Listed as one of the largest Science and Industry museum, Museum of Science and Industry of Chicago is home to more than thirty thousand artifacts on a space of 14-acres. You will be thrilled to see the different exhibitions at different times. Both designed for students and visitors, you will be able to see many world-class items.

The museum is open throughout the year except on Christmas. The regular museum timings are from 9:30 am to 4 p.m. General admission fee for the museum is $13 per adult, senior citizen $12 and children aged between 3 and 11 is $9. Prices also vary depending on different options that Museum of Science and Industry offers namely Omnimax, glass experience, submarine exhibit and many more. Members are offered free admission with a 10 % discount on restaurants and stores. Free general admission days are also planned throughout the year.

Museum of Science and Industry offers you with a range of options to choose from. The popular amongst them are the glass experience, omnimax and 3-D experience. As name suggests, this section lets you experience the wonders of glass. How glass is important for cooking, space, home, decorations, gadgets and many more. A 45-minutes 3-D documentary or film is played to let you experience the true power of technology. Both these sections require additional tickets.
