This surface was again changed in 1988 and the old grass again took over from Astro Turf. This surface is used till ate on this beautiful place. This field was given this name to serve as the memorial to the American soldiers who died in the war. Thus this name was given to this place. It can hold 61,500 seats which is still a very big count for any game.

This fact was taken home by the government and thus given the status of National Historic Landmark in 1963.

This House has really got a huge history behind its back. Apparently a house of bricks has got many ups and down associated with it. The Robbie house was only able to resident the original owners for 15 years and then they had to leave it due to their own financial problems and thus new occupants lived in the house for a very short period of time. The house was then sold and was destined to be demolished to make a commercial centre there. The government came to its rescue at that time and thus this house was restored in his original shape. It remained part of the University of Chicago for A department setup and later it was used as their Alumni’s Headquarter.

This house has been completely restored to its original shape by an expense of almost 8 million dollars.
